Something Wicked This Way Comes

This is how it all started.

A friend I met online low key blew up her life. That’s really her story to tell, so we won’t get to into the nitty gritty, but you what you ought to know she found herself staying at my apartment for awhile so she could figure some stuff out.

She had received some gnosis (ie some sick knowledge dropped on her via her spirit guides) that she ought to travel around the country hooking up with magick peeps. She figured she we would winter with me in Utah and begin her journey in the spring.

Word of Caution

I couldn’t help myself, I had to warn her about Utah’s peculiarities, (aside from the Mormons) I warned her that Utah is a kind of energetic sinkhole. Things like to just get stuck here.

She mentioned she had noticed the strange muted quality the area seemed to possess but shrugged off my warning. Or so I thought.

The next day she stated she had a sense of urgency, something telling her to get the fuck out of Utah now . She asked if I still wanted to join her in this endeavor, even though it now meant I had days to pack up my life and get on the road, instead of the months of planning and saving I had anticipated.

I said yes, of course.

No Going Back

And so in the span of a week I had everything packed that I was taking, bought a $500 Honda Odyssey, stored what I could at my sisters house, grabbed my dog and was gone. I also only had $500 in the bank to sustain me until I could start working again.
