A Good Friend
Our first stop was to visit another friend from our group online, this friend found his way to the magick discord group via his long time friend J (the lady whose momentum sucked me into this process) and despite repeated successful experiments on his part that proved magick was real, he remains skeptical. So even though he was not ready to join any coven, he did have a couch for us to crash on. And so we made a beeline for San Francisco
A Day Late, but luckily not a Dollar Short
J left me behind in Utah while I wrapped up some final things, because her HGA (Holy Guardian Angel) was practically screaming for her to leave. So I got my Van the day she left, and was packed and gone by 6 pm the next day. She did mention on her way out, she felt the release of energy muting. That she felt more and more alive the further she got from Salt Lake City. I was excited to see if I noticed any change.
On The Road
Heading out I didn’t feel much energetic change until I was about 3/4 of mile away from Wendover, and then it felt like I had passed through some kind of veil. Or maybe I was just cold. Now Wendover was barely into my journey, but after the craziness of the past few days I was beat. So I decided to get a quick little nap. Sleeping in my vans passenger seat was more comfortable than expected! So reassured if not reinvigorated I decided to head out again.
Hungover
I had a headache, was nauseous and all around feeling blah. Nothing seemed to help, not the nap or medicine or food. Was it the lack of food and sleep the past few days? The stress of moving? Or the Mormon Egregores influence purging from my body- we may never know. But I had a time line to stick too! So I gritted my teeth and continued to drive. And wouldn’t ya know it? The further I got the better I felt.
Sweet, Sweet Success
After driving all night and all morning, I finally made it! My dog and I tried to nap but it was too hot in the van, and too loud in the house. So we headed over to the dog park for a few hours until it cooled off enough to sleep in the Van. Maybe it was exhaustion but that was one of the best nights sleeps I have had in a long time. The temperature was perfect, and my passenger seat served as a bed once more as I couldn’t be bothered to rearrange everything to get to my bed in the back.
I’m Definitely a Weirdo
Our friend and his gracious family definitely thought I was super weird and kind of a dick for sleeping in my van when they had offered a perfectly wonderful space in their home for me. But hey, I have never done anything like this before- so there is bound to be a learning curve. Luckily, despite my awkward self they still invited me up to join them at their families cabin to drop acid in the woods.
